KUALA LUMPUR, November 2020: Members of Hospital Shah Alam’s Board of Visitors donated 20 wheelchairs to the Hospital Shah Alam Selangor (HSAS) as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) effort.

Dato’ Sri Dr. Irmohizam Ibrahim, Executive Director of World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL) who is also the Director of Board of Visitors Hospital Shah Alam (HSAS), stated the importance of this annual CSR programme in spreading health awareness and providing additional support for those in need, while connecting more intimately with the community

Statically, hospitals in Malaysia receive more patients and visitors intake daily compared to patients being discharged. Members of Board of Visitors hoped that the donation of these equipments will supplement the existing equipments at the hospital and provide better access of health support for HSAS patients. Members of Board of Visitors are raising fund to provide the necessary health equipment such as beds, trolleys and medical supplies for both hospital and its staffs.

Representing the Members of Board of Visitors, Dato’ Sri Dr. Irmohizam Ibrahim officiated the ceremony in delivering the 20-unit of wheelchairs to the hospital.

The ceremony was also attended by the Director of Hospital Shah Alam, Dr. Ismi Rozita and the rest of Members of Board of Visitors Hospital Shah Alam.
